After viewing the scenery of Bozkurt district on the roadside, she set out for Inebolu. The surprise she would came across at 12 kilometers ahead of the road would make her more than happy. She had not paid much attention to Beldeğirmen in her research on Kastamonu. However, she thought that the landscape she saw should be known by many more people. There was a plane tree aged over 500 years old in this beautiful area near the sea, which has taken its name from the mills used to be located in this region. She wrote on the note-paper she took from her briefcase: “Today’s surprise was Beldeğirmen. I was watching the sea sipping my tea in the shade of the plane tree, accompanied by the sound of waves hitting the shore.”
