After touring Nasrullah Mosque, she caught sight of an old building behind the mosque. When she went to her door, she read that this was Munire Sultan Madrasa built in 1328. As she passed the gate of the Madrasa, she felt that she had gone back to the past as if she was traveling in time. Protecting the values of its history, 15 rooms where craftsmen used in the past had now home to both local craftsmanship and those who were selling souvenirs. She noticed that columns forming the corridor in front of each room were U-shaped. She sat in the area right in the middle of the Madrasa which was kept closed in the winter, and ask for a cup of tea. When she lifted her head, she saw the Madrasa adjoining the mosque and imagined who passed by. She once again admired the historical experience of Kastamonu.
