While touring the Kulliye, which is a complex, he was delighted that the tomb of H. Holiness Pir Sheikh Shaban-i Veli, one of the four pillars of Anatolia was in Kastamonu and he had that visit. Despite the difficulties of his era, he went to Istanbul from Kastamonu for his studies and completed his higher education in the madrasas built by Fatih Sultan Mehmet. Afterwards, he became a professor at this madrasa, which was considered as a university of that period. At the same time, he was the pulpit sheikh at the Eyüp Mosque. Later, H. H . Pir decided to return to his hometown, Kastamonu. During that journey home, he participated in the dervish lodge of H.H. Hayrettin Tokadi in Bolu and stayed under his service for 12 years. Returning to Kastamonu in 1530, he reached the stage of sainthood by remaining in the Sheikh Sunneti Efendi dervish lodge for seven years. As the founder of the Sabaniyye line of the Cemalliyye branch of the Khalwati Order, he trained his students and enlightened many people until his death. When he learned there was water of walking stick tastes like zam-zam water in the tomb that always had a lot of visitors, he quaffed that water. When he entered the mosque inside the tomb, the sound of the call of prayer was awe-inspiring. When thinking about how he would be separated from all these beauties of Kastamonu, the word of H. H. Sheikh Shaban-i Veli came to mind: “Happily is your arrival, happily is your departure and happily is all your works.”
