She was doing research before she went to her trip. Today, she was going to visit again a structure that impressed her with its history. The Yılanlı Kulliye (Yılanlı Complex) was the oldest Complex in the city center of Kastamonu. The complex was built during the latest period of Anatolian Seljuk State and was used as Darü'ş Şifa (Faculty of Medicine). In the Ottoman period, the mosque, the shrines and the fountain were built as an addition to the complex. She had taken its name from the snake figure in the wall next to the crown door. The phrase she read when she walked through the door clearly stated the purpose the Complex, “In the name of Allah, the most gracious and merciful. We revealed the Quran as healing and mercy for the believers. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: O Allah’s servants, except death, be treated. Surely Allah has created medicine for all diseases.” While touring in the Complex, she found peace at its every point.
